Rotolift This patented system was developed for moving delivery trucks from street level to the loading docks located either below or above the street. The number of loading docks otherwise required is reduced to one single entrance and the remainder of the high rent street level space can be used for more profitable purposes. Rotolift utilizes a lift, mounted inside a rotating structure, for raising and lowering the trucks and for rotating them into position at the loading dock level, so that they can back up straight to the docks. No backing up is required for entry or exit at street level. Thus, the operation is efficient and, in addition to other benefits, reduces traffic congestion usually associated with street level loading docks.
